National Schools Championships U19C competition rescheduled

England Lacrosse is pleased to confirm that the National Schools Lacrosse Championships Under 19C competition will now take place at Wycombe Abbey School on Tuesday 21 March.

The competition was postponed on safety grounds due to the adverse weather conditions experienced on Monday, and work has been taking place with the competing schools to find a new suitable venue and date.

We would like to thank Wycombe Abbey for their assistance in coming forward to host the rescheduled competition and are pleased that the competing teams will have the opportunity to take part in a National Schools competition.

As the competition is now taking place at an alternative venue, it is important that schools and spectators take careful note of the transportation and spectator information below as it may differ from at Aldershot.

Schedule

The Under 19C schedule is now available on the National Schools Website - powered by Macoocoo - https://www.nationalschoolslacrosse.com/schedule

The competition will begin at 9.30am, with the final scheduled for 3.50pm.

Spectators
Spectators are welcome to attend the competition, however no parking is allowed onsite.

Spectators should not look to enter school in a vehicle, as they will be turned away, but to find parking in one of the many town centre car parks and arrive on foot. There are also no dogs allowed onsite.

Parking & transport arrangements for schools

Due to the very limited space on site, schools are asked to request small coaches and minibuses when traveling to Wycombe Abbey as these can be parked onsite.

Larger coaches will need to drop teams off and then leave site to find parking elsewhere.

Discussions are still ongoing with schools in relation to the U15B and U14 competitions, and information will be released once any decisions have been confirmed.

Once again we would like to thank the competing schools for their cooperation in rescheduling these competitions.
